From drawing to vector, to mono halftone for silk screen
original sketch coloured with markers (about 6cm by 4cm)
More refined drawing coloured with markers, ink and food colouring (about 14cm by 9cm)
I then trace the sketch in illustrator, refining lines and adding symmetries. (just under A4 at 350dpi)
So that the image can be screen printed I have to transfer the image to illustrator and separate the colours to represent the inks I wish to use later. This is the black channel with a half tone dot applied to it. (again just under A4, now 150dpi)
